Nervous System wellness
What is it?
Our nervous system is the embodied architect of our daily experiences in life.
It profoundly influences every aspect of our lives from physical health, emotional balance, cognitive function, to overall well-being. And even more, it determines how we experience the world, respond to stress, and connect with others.
When in homeostasis (balanced), we feel a sense of inner safety that allows us to trust and experience life fully.
When dysregulated, it can manifest as anxiety, burnout, addictive behaviours, depression, lowered immunity, or chronic diseases amongst other symptoms.
Through these sessions, understand your nervous system and learn effective tools to manage stress, release tension, and cultivate emotional resilience in daily life.
Some benefits of a healthy nervous system
- Ability to trust in oneself and life. Understanding that change is constant in life, a resilient nervous system allows us to meet life’s transits and challenges with greater ease, than feel anxious or helpless about what is happening around us.
- Regulates our physical health via the optimal functioning of bodily systems, including our digestive and immune systems.
- Disruption of homeostasis impacts our sleep quality and leads to insomnia or fatigue.
- Cognitive Function & Neuroplasticity: The brain’s plasticity (its ability to rewire) depends on neural health. Poor nervous system function can impair focus, memory, and learning.
